Teeth whitening is the most popular cosmetic dental procedure for a few compelling reasons – it is fast, comfortable, affordable and effective. Patients are often surprised by just how much more confident they feel after a whitening procedure. Whether you’re interested in same day whitening, whitening at home, or finding a whitening option for sensitive teeth, our team can help.
We all have our personal reasons for choosing whitening, and every experience is unique. Some of the reasons our patients pursue teeth whitening is to take advantage of:
…and more. Try whitening for yourself to discover which whitening effect has the biggest impact on your life!
Choosing the appropriate whitening treatment is important, and will ensure that you get the most out of your experience. Ask yourself whether you’d rather whiten in the office with professional guidance, vs. whiten at home on your own schedule; whether you have sensitive teeth; and what kind of results you’d like to achieve. If you’re uncertain as to which procedure is appropriate, speak with a member of our team for personalized advice.
In-office whitening with the Philips Zoom system is the fastest, most efficient way to brighten your smile. You will be able to whiten your teeth up to 8 shades lighter with a single 45-minute treatment. The procedure is comfortable and the results are immediate. Patients who want to look their best for an upcoming special event, or who are eager to see a whiter smile as fast as possible, are ideal candidates for professional whitening.
We are currently offering Zoom whitening for only $400 per treatment – if you would like to schedule an appointment, simply get in touch!
Some patients are interested in whitening their teeth at home, on their own schedule. With this option, whitening takes place gradually over a series of repeat whitening sessions. We will take impressions of your teeth and create custom whitening trays, as well as hydrogen peroxide whitening solution. You’ll be able to comfortably whiten whenever is convenient for you.
Home whitening provides more gradual results (as compared to the same day whiter smile in-office whitening patients achieve). The whitening solution is lower strength than that of the in-office solution so that it is safe for non-professional use. You will start seeing results after a few weeks of regular whitening. Our team will provide you with specific instructions as to how you should whiten, and we’re always available to answer any questions you have.
Tried whitening before, but experienced discomfort? There are options for patients with sensitive teeth who would like a whiter smile. Philips Zoom whitening actually incorporates desensitizing agents for this very purpose. The Zoom whitening solution contains amorphous calcium peroxide (ACP), a sensitivity inhibitor. This helps patients whiten sensitive teeth without pain.
You may also benefit from using a fluoride toothpaste consistently prior to whitening. The fluoride will remineralize and protect your enamel to prevent twinges during whitening treatment.
